If you don't know where to start.

I know there are a lot of people out there that do not know how to start looking for government assistance. So I thought I might be of some help. I you need help and don't know where to start the process then post a message and I will try to help you the best I can. I have been on several programs and am willing to help.

I know it may not seem like much but have you applied for Section 8 (HUD) or at the local Housing Authority they often help. Also try your local Food Stamp office for more assistance.

About CountyPumkin1

I had a job but wanted a career change so I left to go to truck driving school. Four days into schooll they told me I had to go back home because I have diabetes. Now I have no job and have been doing day labor and temp work ever since. I had to move from my hometown due to domestic violence issues and currently stay with another family member but they cannot afford to help with such expenses. I have a weekly car payment, car insurance, and monthly storage fees due. I even applied for Unemployment Benefits, food stamps and signed up a local food bank but those applications often take weeks to process. I was wanting to know if there was any place that could help with these types of expenses. I had been searching daily for work in the Dallas, TX are and I found a job but cannot start training until next month. I don't want to loose my car since that is my only means of transportation at this time because the job will not be on the bus line route.
